The TRVR riding team is not a typical road racing team. We have gathered to enjoy riding on beautiful and adventurous routes unknown to most riders. We are not only concerned with riding, but creating inspiring films and pictures, projecting sports into art. We believe that our projects are all about communicating with people through sports. Shared emotion through projects could help us taste at least some happiness and satisfaction in our lives

TRVR also has a line of beautifully made knitwear, bags and caps. See the TRVR website for more:

[SEOUL GOT SOUL] SAVE THE BIKE LANE

We posted the trailer of Save The Bike Lane back in April and finally the full video is online. It was selected for the Bicycle Film Festival 2011 and premiered in New York in June this year.

Seoul is not covered up with enough bike lanes compare to the size of the city, so the main purpose of this project is to create bike lanes on the road as a propaganda against Seoul city.

Seoul has been investing huge budget in its bike lane project since 1990s. The initial intention of the project itself was seemed promising. However, the city mistakenly did not consider diverse traffic conditions in each region. The bike lanes eventually caused traffic congestions, and turned out a massive parking space.

The already existing bike lanes along the sidewalks has been dominated by pedestrians and even trees for a long time. You will realize that there won’t be any big change even if filing civil complaints. The yellow line on the left side of the logo means protection, so you can see it as we are here to save the bike lanes. No cars are allowed.

Contented films

CONTENTed FILMS is a Seoul-based cooperation of Irish writer Neil Dowling and German director Nils Clauss. Together with their team they create movies that show the best side of contemporary cinematography.

The above movie was filmed in Jeollabuk-do province in South Korea and is an interpretation of a track “Lonely C” by Soul Clap feat. Charles Levin. The video tells the story of a brother and sister who have grown up together and still live and work on their parents small farm. Their closeness has crossed a line however into a stronger attraction or longing for one another. As they try to contain their feelings and deal with the shame they both feel music is the place they turn to find some inner peace.

More brilliant movies by CONTENTed at their website.

Short films by Park June Bum

A giant hands controlling the world? Park June Bum made it possible by unconventionally changing the perspective in his videos. The mundane moments of life become controlled by artist’s hands resulting in thrilling stories. Park’s work can be often seen in galleries and museums worldwide.
